Board Job Description:

Are you looking for the next opportunity to give back to Kansas City’s economic growth?  Strategic Workforce Development, Inc. is seeking innovative board members-at-large to further our mission in providing workforce development solutions in the Kansas City metropolitan area.  Board positions are voluntary/nonpaid and usually three years in length.  Our board members volunteer 3-6 hours each month, through board meetings, planning committees, fundraisers, job fairs, training seminars, and employment events.  We are looking for professionals with expertise in human resources, strategic planning, communications, nonprofit management, leadership, project management, event planning, public relations and more.  We ask members to make a small one-time contribution to the organization.  If interested, please send a pdf resume and cover letter to:  workforce@strategicwfd.com
